Persoonlijke primeur! First for me. What an impressive car! It's the second time I see an Elva on the road and it's just such a head turner. The open concept gives you a peak in its interior which is just super spartan, but you can see the full carbon fiber body. There are so many interesting details on this car, including the references to the McLaren logo. The retro livery here dates back to the McLaren M1A racer from 1964. Back then, a space frame chassis was coupled with a Oldmobile V8 engine. When McLaren raced the car during the Canadian Grand Prix that year, it got the lap record. McLaren plans to build 399 of the Elva's, but I did not find a plaque that states which unit this is.

Ah interesting! Wikipedia said 149 produced, but I interpreted that as 'so far'. I know McLaren has difficulties selling the Elva, but didn't expect them to stop producing that early. There's apparently also an Elva made with a windshield.

Bizarre spot. Wel met stip de lelijkste van het trio Monza SP, AM V12 Speedster, Elva.

Wauw, mega gaaf! Ik zag 'm vorige week al op Insta voorbij komen en ik was heel benieuwd 'hoe lang' het zal duren voordat dit exemplaar op de site verschijnt, dat ging dus heel erg snel! Lekkere serie plaatjes van deze toffe Elva!
