Spot nummer 2500! Om dat te vieren heb ik deze Lagonda Rapide, waar er slechts 55 van gebouwd zijn. De auto werd gebouwd door Aston Martin op basis van de DB4 (waar er meer dan 1100 van zijn), maar kreeg een eigen merknaam om de Lagonda-naam voort te zetten. De motor uit deze auto werd later in de DB5 gebruikt, en ook de DBS keek terug naar dit model voor de ophanging. Door de exclusiviteit en het feit dat de DB4 al op Autogespot staat, denk ik dat dit model een mooie toevoeging is aan de site! --- Spot number 2500! To celebrate, I have this Lagonda Rapide, of which only 55 were built. The car was built by Aston Martin based on the DB4 (of which there are more than 1100), but was given its own brand name to carry on the Lagonda name. The engine from this car was later used in the DB5, and the DBS also looked back to this model for the suspension. Due to its exclusivity and the fact that the DB4 is already on Autogespot, I think this model is a nice addition to the site!

Haha, toch altijd bizar hoe veel verschillende modellen en types door de jaren heen zijn gebouwd. Met 55 exemplaren ook niet iets wat je vaak tegenkomt of events. Ik kende hem zelf ook nog niet :)
