I first found this 1996 Ferrari F355 Spider driving down Greenwich Avenue on 6/9/2018 (photos 1-7). I found it again driving on West Putnam Avenue/US-1 on 6/22/2019 (photos 8-10). I wonder what happened to all of these 1990s Ferraris. It seems like around here, they all have vanished for newer cars. They gotta be around somewhere. License plate: RF·67 (NY)

I think there are two main reasons for the relative disappearance of the 348 and 355 series. First, neither model is known for reliability (granted, we're talking Italian exotics, but I've heard of 355 owners budgeting $500 a MONTH just for maintenance). Second, they've bottomed out in terms of value, and all the speculative collectors who have no interest in ever actually driving them are scooping up the decent examples. Plus, they're just not as comfortable and don't carry the status that newer Ferraris do, which are all reasons why I'd rather have a 348 or 355 lol. Anyway, great spot! Love the spec on this one, the 355 has always been such a wicked-looking car.

Just my thought. They can't be gone. It's so weird. You rarely see them these days. And that's suck. They are better looking and more desirable then the modern Ferrari's imo. Great find!

I've asked myself the same question over and over; where do these end up? They have got to be somewhere!
