I found this 2019 BMW i8 Roadster turning onto Mason Street on 10/5/2019. I haven't seen it since. "PLEATS" is referring to the fold achieved by doubling fabric back upon itself and securing in place. It is commonly used in clothing and upholstery to gather a wide piece of fabric to a narrower circumference. This tells me that the owner works in the fashion industry. I wonder if he is a famous designer that I haven't heard of?
