The Cygnet was Aston Martins take on compact cars but it failed miserably which makes them pretty rare. Only 786 Cygnets were ever produced and only 35 of them were the Launch Edition Black models, which you see here. Also it is pretty unbelievable that this is a four seater! Combo with an X5 M.

The Cygnet wasn't built as AM's "take on compact cars", but to reduce the overall CO2-emissions company-wide. Aston didn't build any cars with hybrid technology at the time, only with V8's and V12's so the Cygnet was a rebadged iQ to comply with emission rules.
